Friday 5-6-22 AJ's Birthday and Shopping

 Another cool and windy day. 50F all day 20 to 30 mph wind, some light rain.

Had breakfast of coffee and bagel.

We headed out shopping at 10:00 AM.

First stop was the Container Store

It has surplus and liquidated mechandise of all sorts. Men's and women's clothing

Household goods and electronics

They have toys and plumbing fixtures and lots of electrical luminaires, mostly LED including solar. The solar LED devices were very expensive.

Kathryn bought a large Pelican Cooler for refreshments at AJ's party on Saturday. As we left we saw a nice Street Dog. They are well taken care of here and people even let them in their houses to visit

Next we drove to the Tbilisi Mall. We started at Wendy's for lunch. We had Chicken Sandwich, Chicken Nuggets, Frys, Frosty, Coke and Water. The bottled water was 1 GEL, 30 cents.

Walked around the huge three floor mall. They have every brand you can imagine and lots of inventory.

We then went to the main floor and CarreFour

All the checkout lanes are open to the mall

We went to the basement looking for birthday party supplies

They have belt type escalators so you can take your cart between floors. They have a unique type of cart.

The basement had all the household products and sundries

Then went upstairs to groceries. Outside of K-cup pods, I can't think of anything they don't have. very complet liquor section

Beautiful produce

We checked out and headed back to the house. I videoed the drive back.

When Erik got home AJ opened her presents

We had Chicken Cordon Bleu,Mac and Cheese and Vegetables for dinner.

Caught up on some of the YouTube videos I watch.

Went to bed about 10:30 PM local time.
