Wednesday 5-11-22 Off on our own the first time in Tbilisi

Made coffee and ate the last bagel.

Caught up on things on the Internet.

Watched some YouTube videos.

At 1:00 :PM called for a Bolt ride. It was here in 3 minutes, a nice Kia

He took us to the mall and was a very good driver. He dropped us off at the main entrance to the mall. We headed to Carrefour just a bit to the right of the main entrance.

I was looking for a sweatshirt. The clothing was on the lower level. They only had two sweat shirts left, both too small.

Took the escalator to the main floor. I checked out their large selection of alcoholic products, but didn't buy any.

Snacks were next to the alcohol and I did buy a lot of them. They are packaged smaller than in the US, but Lays is prominent as a brand.

The Sour Cream and Onion STIX are something I've never seen in the US, but I like them.

We picked up a lot of different cookies and etc. We also picked up milk and yogurt.

Special Needs People have priority at the checkout

While Cathy waited on seating in the main entrance, I went up to the second level and bought coffee pods.

I went outside to see if there was any seating outside to wait for a Bolt ride. I ran into two men with sub machine guns that came out of this van

There wasn't any outside seating so I went back to where Cathy was and called for a Bolt ride. He was 1 minute away. It was the same driver, so no problem telling him where we wanted to go. The ride to the mall was 6.40 GEL, the ride back 7.00 GEL. there are 3.33 GEL per dollar. Tipped him 5 GEL each ride.

Got home and had some of the snacks.

We had left over Shawana for dinner. Erik served me a Lowenbrau.

We watched some more episodes of "the Office" and then got things ready to go to Baku Azerbaijan tomorrow.
